MARTHA PULLEN— BLUE ICE HEIRLOOM QUILT
This is an exclusive design from Martha Pullen
Company. This icy blue confection of silk dupioni, linen and linen blend
fabrics will warm your heart! Its nine blocks are a library of heirloom
sewing techniques and quilting designs. Framed in the center block is an
embroidered elegant Godey lady who is obviously use to turning heads as
she shows off the back of her Dresden plate skirt against a silk dupioni
background. This block has a grid of twin needle pintucks and a partial

MARTHA PULLEN—EBONY AND IVORY HEIRLOOM QUILT
Oh, how this ebony and ivory
linen blend quilt will play upon your heart-strings! Nine blocks with
black backgrounds framed by ivory sashing resemble pages of a music
manuscript and the entire quilt edge is finished with black binding. Five
of the blocks feature heirloom sewing techniques and the remaining four
blocks bring finely-tuned harmony to the entire quilt with their
embroidered baskets and corners. The embroideries have all been stitched
in shades of ivory and taupe which is absolutely striking against the
black backgrounds. The center block has a lace shaped heart filled with
rows and rows of lace insertion, baby rickrack and tatting. This piece of
heirloom quilting artistry will cause you to catch your breath as all
beautifully played music does and you are sure to receive a standing
ovation from all who see your masterpiece.

BABY TRIO—A MARTHA PULLEN PROJECT
You are absolutely going to love creating this
three-piece ivory silk dupioni ensemble that is worthy of a layette for
royalty! The channel quilted jacket has a sweet little embroidery over the
baby’s heart and all of its edges have been trimmed with pin stitched silk
satin ribbon, can be in blue or you may change the color to pink for a
girl, or neutral if the child has not yet arrived. The jacket’s closure is
a ribbon bow at the neck opening. The bonnet has a zigzag channel quilted
turned back brim with ribbon piping around its edges and in the seam where
the crown has been attached. Sweet little booties make precious use of
fabric in the same channel quilting design and they are trimmed with a

BIAS, BRIDGES AND BOWS DAYGOWN
If love could be a garment, it would be this spectacular daygown. This
gown like love, is elegant yet simple; intricately embroidered without
being flashy; well detailed but not painstakingly so. The collar, I must
admit it looks like a lesson in patience with its rows of bias tubes,
featherstitching, and tatting, but I promise a technique that will spare
your sanity.

TECHNIQUE PURSE
Who would ever think that such a boldly colored,
fashionable accessory could show off techniques and be functional at the
same time? Pin-stitched shark’s teeth create an interesting block with
dimension on one side of the linen blend purse and bias shaped trim
creates a stem and leaves that draw the eye to a free standing applique’
flower that has gimp work edging. A ribbon rosette and flower button
brings depth and texture to the applique’d flower. Madeira appliqué is
used to create beautiful pockets on the other side of the purse and bias
shaped trim frames a ribbon rosette above the pockets. You will love
practicing your tech-niques on this purse and then showing it off when the
purse is complete!
Class Fee - $30 – Kit Fee with all fabrics - $45.00
